Free Application for Federal Student-Aid
Only elite players (1% of Division I, II, III, NAIA, & JUCO baseball players) receive full scholarships.
Most receive 10%-50% of full tuition & must seek other financial aid and scholarships each year.
70% of undergrads require financial aid to graduate.
Amount of financial aid available to student-athlete affects college choice.
Obtain FAFSA application from guidance counselor.
January 1st is first day student-athletes may submit Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form & most states have February or March 1st deadline.
Student-athlete not required to be admitted to college to apply for financial aid, but must be admitted to receive
